Mural and Prop Painting Information
Thank you for choosing artist, Jeff Mackie for painting your first/next
mural.
The process:
1st consultation is free and it includes meeting the artist, discussing
project details, measurements, layouts, imagery, theme, colours, deadlines
and more. Suggestions and ideas will be offered and digital pictures of
the area will be taken for reference and composition.
After we come to a mutual understanding and you decide to hire Jeff to
paint your special mural or props, he will then calculate the budget and
give you a price quote within 2-5 days. If youre satisfied with
it, he will then go over the work schedule and explain the painting process.
Reference pictures will be collected to put together a composition that
youre happy with. Jeff will present the final project details to
you prior to starting the plaining by phone or in person using sketches
and reference pictures. Upon your approval, he will start the painting
process. Please note that small modifications to the final design are
bound to happen as the painting progresses. Furniture must be moved away
from the area to be painted. Drop cloths will be used and all areas that
need to be protected will be taped.
Factors that determine the pricing of painting a mural or prop:
-dimensions of the wall/canvas
-cost of supplies/equipment
-surface preparation
-level of detail
-location/travel expenses
-time
Upon starting the painting of your mural or props, the artist requires
a 50% non-refundable deposit to be applied to the total price when the
project is completed.
All murals are painted with odorless, non-toxic best quality acrylic or
airbrush paint and sealed with a varnish for longevity
